Our parent factory in Staufen in southwest Germany employs
approx. 300 staff and manufactures laboratory and analytical
equipment and production machinery for Europe, the Middle
East and Africa. |

Approximately 80 staff are active in the field of mechanical
engineering and they significantly contribute to the success
of the IKA® Group. Our leading position in the areas
of dispersion, kneading and plant construction is consolidated
and further developed by means of innovative technology.

Founded in 1985, IKA® Works in Wilmington, North Carolina,
is the Group's bridgehead for North America. Over 60 employees
develop and produce IKA® quality for the American market.

Works USA has become a major player in the IKA® Group.

(Asia) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia
Founded in 1995, IKA® Works Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,
employs approx. 50 staff and is responsible for the whole
of the Far East region. This subsidiary is a gateway to
the booming Asian markets and sells IKA®-WERKE's range
of products under the market conditions of the region. |

IKA®-Works
Guangzhou, China
At the end of 1998 the second production plant after the
parent factory in Germany was set up in Guangzhou in China.
IKA® Works Guangzhou manufactures and sells products
almost exclusively in the Chinese market. A future investment
which is already bearing fruit today, this has become one
of the fastest growing plants. |
