If the energy of the sample is unknown, always start with a low quantity of sample material like i.e. 0.1 g to 0.25 g. Especially recommended for samples with high ash content. The wider opening diameter allows to dry samples in an oven faster as well as filling in the sample more convenient. Stainless steel crucibles.
